Following the assassination of Anas al-Sharif and five other journalists in Gaza City earlier this month, I was invited on Mimi Rosenberg's "Equal Rights and Justice." I'm bringing the episode back as U.S. Labor Day approaches.

Alongside fellow guests Layan Fuleihan, education director at The People's Forum, and Amina, a New York City-based Palestinian healthcare worker and organizer, I discussed Israel's attacks on Palestinian journalists and the suppression faced by those who cover Palestine in the U.S. and Europe. We also spoke about what the U.S. labor movement owes Palestine and how you can get involved.

If you'd like to donate to support the Palestine Journalists Syndicate, the National Writers Union is fundraising with the goal of collecting $1,000 before Labor Day. Click here to donate.
